Week 5 - How It Works From Here

This is the start of month 2. Roughly 2 days after you've paid your second invoice you will get an email with a link to a report. This will also generate us a ticket to start work on your account.

The report is a snapshot of how your website appears in search results now we are starting to track. These rankings are checked weekly, and reported monthly.

It's really important to understand that if you see one keyword go down, it isn't the end of the world, as another one may go up in its place. This is why we look at "semantic" keywords too.

These reports are purely to give you a flavour of whats going on and isn't the whole picture. We use our quarterly reviews to discuss these with you. (We of course monitor these throughout each and every week, it's just impossible to put that much data in to a dashboard and for it to be understandable!).

By this point, we're in to the swing of things. This might be behind the scenes like technical SEO (i.e. things you won't visibly see on the website, but it's there for Google to read). Or might be content updates, it might be us asking you about us creating new pages etc... every keyword, every website and every business is different. We'll keep you up to date on what we are doing and what we need from you. We do this month in month out. We work on your goals, we monitor your site in Google, we fix technical SEO issues, we work with you throughout the whole process. There's a lot to it, and some of it isn't even visible on the website, which is where we will always be clear with you what we are doing.
