If you need to pause temporarily — for budget reasons, a busy period, or a major business change — speak to your account manager as soon as possible. We'll discuss options and agree a plan.

What happens to your rankings when you pause?

In the short term, not much. Existing rankings don't disappear overnight. However, over weeks and months without active work, competitors who continue investing in SEO will gradually overtake you, and technical issues won't be caught.

Cancelling your retainer

After the 3-month minimum term, cancel with 30 days' written notice to your account manager or hello@bristechtonic.co.uk. We'll do a handover of relevant assets, access credentials, and documentation.

What you keep

Everything created on your website — the content, structural improvements, technical fixes — stays on your site. You own your website and everything on it. What ends is our ongoing work and reporting, not the results already achieved.
